Our first ever pop-up shop, open at 88 N. Main Street in Downtown Memphis! This space was furnished free of charge by the Downtown Memphis Commission.
The pop-up shop was in the shadow of towering 100 North Main.

Transforming a neglected Main Street storefront into the first ever Monster Market!
Monster Market’s first ever pop-up happened on North Main as a part of the Downtown Memphis Commission’s “Open on Main” program— an initiative which activated empty, neglected and abandoned storefronts on Main Street into opportunities for small businesses to pop up for one month at a time!
When I thought about which month to choose, it seemed obvious— and thus the format of a monthly pop-up happening in October each year was born. Check out the blog post below for a look at how we transformed the space the first year!
